About me:
I obtained my Ph.D. from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio and my M.Phil. and B.Sc. degrees from the Chinese University of Hong Kong. While at the University of Washington, I studied on mitochondrial dysfunction, NAD+ redox state and heart failure for my postdoctoral training. After my postdoctoral training, I was recruited to the Cardiovascular Biology department of Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation (OMRF) as an Assistant Member in the beginning of 2019. My research program in OMRF aims to investigate the multifaceted roles of NAD+ metabolism in the progression of cardiac dysfunction induced by various risk factors.
Hobbies: I enjoy traveling, cooking and spending time with my family.
