About me:
I work as a Research Technician in the Lee Lab within the Cardiovascular Biology Department at OMRF. My responsibilities include taking care of the lab equipment and assisting lab members with their research projects.
Education and Previous Experience:
I have a B.Sc. Honours (Co-op) in Genetics and a Minor in Psychology from the University of Manitoba, Canada. I have worked as a Co-op student in the labs of Drs. James Nagy, Galen Wright and Britt Drögemöller. I have experience in performing non-survival surgery on mice and rats to study Connexin36 protein in brain and spinal cord. I am also proficient in RStudio and have some bioinformatics experience having worked with a list of essential neuronal and cancer genes.
