About me:
My name is Christine Light and I am a Capricorn. I graduated from the University of California, Riverside (UCR) in 2018 with a B.Sc. in Microbiology. While at UCR I worked in a research lab focused on emerging negative-strand RNA viruses. After UCR, I decided to move to Oklahoma. After moving to Oklahoma in the beginning of January 2019, I started working at the Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation (OMRF) the following month. At OMRF, I am working with Dr. Chi Fung Lee (see Research page to get an idea of Dr. Lee’s plan for the lab) in the Cardiovascular Biology Department as a Senior Research Technician.
